About the doctors at Ridgewood Ophthalmology Anne
Sumers, M.D. — Dr. Anne Sumers specializes in no-stitch cataract
surgery, with rapid return of vision for most patients. She is the
team ophthalmologist for the New York Football Giants. Dr. Sumers has
been selected for the National Guide to Top Doctors and Who's Who in
America since 1998. Dr. Sumers, as a spokesperson for the American
Academy of Ophthalmology, has been interviewed on Good Morning America,
CBS This Morning, and many radio stations, and she has been quoted in
the New York Times, Town and Country, Business Week, Parents, Self and
many other publications. Dr. Sumers is the founder and director of the New
Jersey Children's Museum in Paramus, an interactive
"hands-on" museum for preschoolers and toddlers.
Eric
Saunders, M.D. — Dr. Eric Saunders is a fellowship trained
LASIK specialist who practices general ophthalmology. He has
been certified by VISX since 1999, and he has performed over
1,000 LASIK procedures. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Hiram
College, Dr. Saunders graduated from the Johns Hopkins
University Medical School. He completed his residency in
diseases and surgery of the eyes at Vanderbilt University
Medical Center. He completed a full year of fellowship training
for LASIK at the Woodhams Eye Center in Atlanta. |
