Our doctors at Ridgewood Ophthalmology are happy to speak to your Civic or Social Group in Bergen County; we have given talks to senior groups in Glen Rock and Ramsey, Lions in Allendale and Wyckoff, school nurses from all over Bergen County, and welcomed Brownies to visit our practice offices, from Paramus and Upper Saddle River! Our doctors will be happy to speak with your group about eye safety, eye diseases, seeing well as you grow older, LASIK, cataract surgery, or careers in medicine. International Eye Surgery Expeditions by the Doctors at Ridgewood Ophthalmology:
Dr. Sumers is a proud supporter of the group SEE International (Surgical Eye Expeditions), and will be going in a humanitarian eye surgery mission in Hue, Vietnam, in October, 2008, to do 100 cataract surgeries in one week! She hopes to improve the lives and bring great vision to people who would otherwise suffer from near blindness.
