About Our Doctors
All of the ophthalmologists at Ridgewood Ophthalmology are
board-certified and all three have over 10 years experience
practicing medicine. All the ophthalmologists do complete eye exams
for children and adults, fit glasses and contact lenses for
nearsightedness, far sightedness, and astigmatism, and diagnose and
treat eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration
and diabetic retinopathy. All three doctors do cataract and laser
surgery, removing the cloudy cataract lens of the eye with
state-of-the-art phacoemulsification, or small incision cataract
surgery. Tired of your glasses or contacts? Dr. Eric Saunders
specializes in LASIK, or Laser Vision Correction, for
